Wisemove Intra-Academy Online Tournament February 2024 Winners
On 21 August 2022, we conducted a chess workshop with the youth of the Ismaili Community at the Ismaili Centre Dubai. All the youngsters had their competitive and concentration faces on.
They say “chess takes ages to learn and a lifetime to master” and we were glad to pass on our tips and strategies to the young ones.

Our Chess Workshop in Dubai

- The mathematics that children learn today was developed from methods of calculations passed down from ancient civilisations.
- Just like the Chinese and their Abacus, the Japanese and their Kumon system; India too has its own system known as Vedic maths.

Prior knowledge of chess is not required. Our course is designed to help learners start their learning from the basics of the game which will allow them to build a strong foundation to playing chess with other players from across the globe.
Yes.Totally. With our Smart learning Chess Platform, students not only learn well but also excel in the game! We track every student’s performance statistically based on how he interacts on the platform in terms of games played,no of puzzles solved accurately,attendance etc.
Yes they can! In fact, during the trial session, the expert facilitator shall gauge the level of knowledge of the child and their ability of applying that knowledge to the basics of the game. They can then suggest the right level of entry into the course based on these evaluations.
We conduct twice a week sessions of 1 hour each. Incase students wishes to increase the frequency of the class, we do make arrangements according to the availability of the slots.
Yes we do! To help your child practice the skills that they have learned, we conduct a chess tournament.Your child will also get a chance to win fun prizes!
Regular puzzles are uploaded in “Quiz” Section wherein they can independently practise the concept they have learnt in the sessions. The puzzles are then discussed in the upcoming session. We also conduct practice sessions every Sunday mornings so that they can play with variety of different players from the academy.
